PLAN - the top management of the organization establishes the context and stakeholders, its scope and limitations, objectives and quality policy of the SMC. SMC processes together with the risks involved, the interactions between the processes, the objectives and the programs to achieve them are established.
DO - production processes and support processes are implemented.
CHECK - SMC is monitored and audited to evaluate its performance according to customer requirements and objectives and the results must be reported to the top management of the organization.
ACT - actions are defined and implemented to correct deficiencies, to improve SMC results and performance.
