Introduction to optimized design for production and assembly (DFMA)

Objectives: Understand robust design principles and processes that simplify and streamline manufacturing / assembly processes / activities in order to improve product quality and reduce costs.

Target audience: Personnel from production and / or retailing companies involved in product design, designing, controlling or managing manufacturing and assembly processes - design engineers and technologists, project managers, maintenance personnel.

Duration: 2 days + possibility of another day of consultancy on the projects allocated to the students.
